Prior to taking Biblical Finance 101, finances were a big stressor for my husband and I. We’d set a budget every month, but by the end of the month, we’d always be in a deficit. After taking Biblical Finance 101, we realized that there were several things that we were doing that sabotaged our budget, and negatively impacted our finances.

This class gives you a foolproof method on how to prepare your budget, and plan your finances. You’re reminded throughout the course to go to God for guidance, and to prayerfully access your options as they pertain to your finances. This point was key for me, as I found that day-to-day I would make these decisions on my own, without going to God. To say the very least, this method was not working!   

Our family’s financial income has not changed (increased), but now after taking this course we have enough money to cover our monthly expenses, pay off debt, save towards an emergency fund, and most importantly we’ve been able to increase our kingdom investment contributions. Additionally, my husband and I are no longer constantly stressed out about money, and communication regarding managing our finances has greatly improved. We now look forward to the benefits associated with managing our finances effectively i.e., having money in reserve/saved for family vacations, home repairs etc.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who needs help with managing their finances. As long as you attend class regularly, have an open mind and actually implement what you’ve learned you’ll be successful in the course.

After taking Biblical Finance 101 I had to re-evaluate the ways in which I spent resources in my possession. And as a result, have a renewed respect for money because I learned that 100% of it did not truly belong to me. I became aware, that as a follower of Christ, there was a role that my finances had to play in my daily living here on earth.  

There have been many benefits associated with taking the course, but one of the biggest is that my wife and I now share  the same perspective on finances. We look at money using the same biblical framework, and this has led to a greater desire for us to use our finances jointly in advancing God's Kingdom on earth. Finances play a big part in most if not all marriages, so having joint understanding in respect to the place they should have, helps us to be unified. There's also a sense of joy knowing that we are doing meaningful work with our finances which has an ultimately God-glorifying purpose.

The knowledge gained in this course is life changing, and a lot of your previous views on finances will most likely be challenged. Understanding the Bible and what it has to say about God and how He looks at finances can help any follower of Christ to truly align their financial goals, and perhaps even their life, towards pursuits that will in the end lead to true financial freedom.

Biblical Finance 101 was a blessing, and exactly what I was praying for. I decided to take it because I was interested in learning about the relationship between the Bible and finances. I also wanted to learn about budgeting and managing money.  I ended up learning more than I thought I would, and it transformed my attitude towards money.

I used to think it was through my own efforts that I could keep/make money, and it overwhelmed me -- but after taking this course I learned that it all comes from God. I also used to stress about the ability to give and still have enough to pay bills etc, but this course allowed to see that God is the provider and that 100% of what I make is his.

But, beyond learning - The results of taking this course have been amazing. Firstly, I learned how to manage my money and divide it up accordingly - so I stopped stressing about what was going in and out, and relied on God to provide.

I also learned how to develop a plan on how to make money work for me.

And now, no matter the circumstance,  I have a very peaceful feeling because I know that if I do this with God, he will see me through.

I've already told my parents about it, and want them to take it and I would 100% recommend this course to others!  I think this course not only provides the fundamentals of what is needed to manage money (which is never taught in schools) but gives you this new way of viewing money and the importance of including God in all you do.

I was initially hesitant to take Biblical Finance 101 because it required a significant time commitment, but I can truly say that it was all worth it in the end.

I now have a deeper understanding of my role as a steward of God’s resources,  and the critical nature of making financial decisions based on the Word of God.

Through careful application of the biblical principles covered in this course,  I have seen a great improvement in the way I steward money.  As a result, my stress associated with managing finances has reduced, and I was able to increase my Kingdom Investments.

I strongly and absolutely will recommend this course to anyone - it is worth the time!
